1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the GuestList application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our End User License Agreement (EULA). If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

GuestList is a wedding planner and guest list manager application designed to help you organize your wedding and events with confidence. The App provides the following features:

  • Guest List Management: Create and manage detailed wedding guest lists with contact information and notes.
  • RSVP Tracking: Track attendance status and RSVPs in real time.
  • Guest Organization: Organize guests into custom groups by family, friends, or any category you choose.
  • Multiple Events: Manage multiple events from one place (Premium feature).
  • Data Export: Export guest lists as PDF or Excel files for printing or sharing (Premium feature).
  • Customization: Customize your experience with beautiful themes (Premium feature).

The App is designed for couples planning weddings and can also be used for engagements, parties, receptions, and other special events that require guest list management and RSVP tracking.

3. Premium Subscriptions

GuestList offers premium subscriptions (monthly and yearly) that unlock advanced features:

  • Comfortably manage unlimited guest lists
  • Track multiple events in one place
  • Stay organized with unlimited groups
  • Match your planning style with themes
  • Export and share via PDF & Excel

Subscription Terms

  • Subscriptions are processed and managed entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play Store
  • Pricing is displayed at the time of purchase and may vary by region
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings (iOS) or Google Play account settings (Android)
  • Free trial periods (if offered) are only available for first-time users
  • Refund requests should be directed to the respective app store according to their refund policies

Free vs Premium

The free version of GuestList provides basic guest list management features with limitations on the number of guests, events, and groups you can create. Premium subscriptions remove these limitations and unlock additional features such as themes and export capabilities.

4. User Conduct and Responsibilities

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others. You are responsible for:

  • Ensuring that your use of the App complies with all applicable laws and regulations
  • The accuracy and appropriateness of any data you enter into the App
  • Maintaining the security of your device where the App is installed
  • Any sharing or distribution of guest information exported from the App
  • Obtaining necessary consent from guests whose information you store in the App

5. Data Privacy and Guest Information

Important: All guest information, event data, and personal details you enter into the App are stored locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit this information. You are solely responsible for:

  • Obtaining appropriate consent from guests whose information you store
  • Complying with applicable data protection laws (such as GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
  • The security and privacy of your device and any exported files
  • Any sharing or distribution of guest information

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be:

  • Uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or harmful components
  • Accurate or reliable in all respects
  • Compatible with all devices or operating systems
  • Suitable for your specific event planning needs

We expressly disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

7. Data Loss and Backup

Important: Since all data is stored locally on your device, we are not responsible for any data loss that may occur due to:

  • Device failure, loss, or theft
  • Operating system updates or device resets
  • App updates or reinstallation
  • Accidental deletion
  • Any other technical issues

You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of your guest lists and event data by using the export features (available to Premium users) or other backup methods.

8. No Event Planning Advice

GuestList is a tool designed to help you organize guest lists and track RSVPs. The App does not provide event planning advice, wedding planning services, or any professional consultation. We are not responsible for any decisions you make regarding your events, guest lists, or wedding planning based on the use of this App. Always consult with professional event planners or wedding coordinators for specific advice.

9. Export and Sharing Features

Premium users can export guest lists as PDF or Excel files. When using export features:

  • You are responsible for the security and privacy of exported files
  • You are responsible for how you share or distribute exported data
  • You must comply with applicable data protection laws when sharing guest information
  • We are not responsible for unauthorized access to exported files

10. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services such as Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, RevenueCat, and Expo SDK for analytics, crash reporting, subscription management, and app infrastructure. Your use of the App is also subject to the terms and privacy policies of these services. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party services.

11. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and other intellectual property in the App are the property of Emre Balli, Asset Box, or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our express written permission.

12. End User License Agreement (EULA)

By using the App, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on your personal device for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license:

  • Does not grant you ownership of the App or any of its components
  • Prohibits reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the App
  • Prohibits using the App for any illegal, unauthorized, or commercial purpose
  • Prohibits reselling, sublicensing, or distributing the App or its features
  • May be terminated at any time if you violate these Terms of Service

Premium subscriptions grant you access to additional features for the duration of your subscription period, but do not grant you any additional ownership rights.

13. Termination and Suspension

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Violation of these Terms of Service
  • Violation of applicable laws or regulations
  • Fraudulent or abusive behavior
  • Any use that may harm the App or other users

Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. Active subscriptions may be canceled according to the app store's refund policy.

14. App Distribution

The App is available on Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. Your use of the App may also be subject to the terms and policies of these platforms. All subscriptions and purchases are processed through these platforms and are subject to their respective terms, conditions, and refund policies.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for any damages or losses arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of guest list data or event information
  • Missed RSVPs or event planning issues
  • Errors or inaccuracies in data export
  • Privacy breaches resulting from exported or shared data
  • Device failures, data loss, or technical issues
  • Any decisions made based on the use of the App
  • Service interruptions or feature unavailability
  • Any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from the use of the App shall not exceed the amount you have paid for subscriptions in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Emre Balli, Asset Box, and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the App
  • Your violation of these Terms of Service
  • Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations
  • Your collection, storage, or sharing of guest information
  • Any data protection or privacy law violations

17. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Please review this page periodically for updates.

18. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the App is distributed, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
